A dusty border town fifty miles southeast of Brownsville, Tres Hermanas is about to become the stage for a high-stakes showdown. A shipment of gold, worth $200,000.00, from the Villa Pancho mining camp is en route to Brownsville, but will be making a stop overnight in Tres Hermanas—and word is, bandits on both sides of the Rio Grande have taken notice. Will the players form a gang to steal the gold, or will they stand with the town to protect it? Every choice has a price, and in Tres Hermanas, everyone’s got something to hide…
The Adventure
Tres Hermanas is a living land of opportunity and danger, where every story has two sides. This adventure is designed to be played from either perspective: as daring outlaws carving their fate outside the law, or as determined lawbringers striving to bring justice to a wild and restless frontier. Whether your posse rides for freedom or for order, you’ll find challenges, choices, and consequences tailored to your path. The town, its people, and its secrets will respond to your actions—no matter which side of the badge you’re on.
The Stage Is Set
The adventure begins on the morning of Monday, October 30th, 1876. The border town of Tres Hermanas stirs to life beneath a crimson dawn, bracing for a week that will not soon be forgotten. Word is spreading fast: a gold shipment from the Villa Pancho mining camp will arrive in Tres Hermanas on the evening of Wednesday, November 1st, bound for Brownsville, which is 150 miles north.
But this is no ordinary week. With Tres Hermanas so close to the border, the townsfolk are preparing for Día de los Muertos—three days of remembrance, revelry, and tradition. As altars bloom with marigolds and candles flicker in the night, the line between the living and the dead grows thin, and chaos is never far behind.
Players will have two full days to plan—whether to orchestrate a daring heist or shore up defenses against it. There will be time to gather information, recruit allies, and prepare for the confusion that the festival brings. When the gold finally rolls into town amid the swirling festivities, the stage will be set for a showdown that could become legend on either side of the law.
